""Tour of Jumbos" "Tour of Jumbos" is an Eight-Day Eco Tour Programme that is specially designed to facilitate the elephant lover to understand the world's largest living animal in just a few days. This tour includes visits to an elephant orphanage and later to the Minneriya National Park to catch the first glimpse of the elephant, which usually comes out at sundown to visit a river or a big waterhole to swim and quench their thirst.

The tour also includes an overnight camping option at the National Park or Wasgamuwa or Uda Walawe or at any of the safari villages around the island where the Elephant is a known inhabit.

While the excursion aims at familiarizing the tourist with the Elephant, it also allows the tourist a view of Sri Lanka's exotic scenery, bird life & wildlife and its magnificent ancient monument dating back from 3rd Century B.C.

Arrive at the Colombo Airport and proceed to Giritale via an Elephant Orphanage (central of Sri Lanka). Evening visit Minneria centuary. Overnight stay Giritale

After breakfast excursion to Polonnaruwa. Evening, Night Safari in the open Jungle to see Wild Elephants. Overnight stay in Giritale.

After breakfast leave to Wasgamuwa. Afternoon safari tour at Wasgamuwa National Park. Option: Overnight camping at Wasgamuwa National Park or Overnight stay in Wasgamuwa

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy. Evening visit to Kandy Temple and City Tour. Overnight stay at Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to Uda Walawe via Nuwara Eliya. Evening see the Landscape, Plantation etc. Overnight stay in Uda Walawe.

After breakfast, leave for an Elephant Safari tour, full day or half day in Uda Walawe national Park. Overnight stay in Uda Walawe.

After breakfast, leave to Colombo South Coast via Rathnapura (also known as the "Gem City"). Beach stay at Weligama, Bentota or Mount Lavinia. Overnight stay in Weligama, Bentota or Mount Lavinia.
